Sightseeing
Discover the natural sights and wonders around Oz during your summer holiday. Just outside the resort, you’ll find more than 200km of marked pathways, 23 marked itineraries, and hill climbs of 800 to 2,800 metres, with a beautiful valley in the middle.
There are also three downhill tracks for committed downhill racers. Or go sailing on the quiet waters of the Verney reservoir, or swimming in the turquoise water of the pool at Allemont.
Furthermore, the wild nature reserve in the heart of the Ecrins National Park boasts dazzling flora and fauna and almost 680km of signposted footpaths. From simple strolls to steep climbs, you are bound to find something to suit you! We recommend the famous tour of Oisans for experienced hikers – trail no. 54 on your maps!
Finally, admire one of the most beautiful panoramas in the Alps from more than 3,300m high on the Pic Blanc summit. With all these wonders within reach, our sightseeing summer breaks are second to none.
Summer Glacier Skiing
Walkers can also explore the Grandes Rousses massif and its exceptional panoramas. Using the gondola lifts in Oz, skiers and non-skiers can access altitudes of 2000m, marked pedestrian trails, altitude restaurants and Nordic skiing tracks. There’s also summer skiing on the glacier Serenne in July, or an hour’s drive away in Les 2 Alpes.
Ski lifts are open from the end of June to the beginning of September.
